Male Speaker: Welcome to another interview on CelebrityMagic.org where a celebrity discusses the causes they support and the magic they weave.
Male Announcer: TalkShoe. Recorded live.
Liz Sheppard: Hi, I’m Liz Sheppard and today I am doing an interview with Allison Hayes for Celebrity Magic. Allison is known as being a High Priestess of Stone she is a professional psychic, medium, past-life chronicler, and she hosts two radio shows. Allison can you introduce yourself?
Allison Hayes: Yes, thank you so much for having me, Liz. My name is Allison obviously; Allison Hayes but my friends call me The Rock Girl. The reason being is that for many many years I have collected stones and I have over 10,000 stones in my house, believe it or not. Some are a little some are big, that is basically what I do is I play with rocks, I do psychic readings with rocks, I do healing with rocks, all sorts of energy balance. That is really who I identify as, “The Rock Girl.”
Liz: You are not only the Rock Girl, you do a lot of charitable work, and I know you did a charitable red carpet event for Animal Care & Control of New York City this past weekend.
Allison: Yes, actually last night.
Liz: Can you tell us a little bit about that organization?
Allison: Yes, absolutely. Animal Care & Control of New York City, they are the — actually if anybody out there is listening you can go to their website at N-Y-C-A-C-C.org. Animal Care & Control of New York City is actually the largest pet organization in the North East, not even in New York City but the North East. It basically rescues 43,000 animals each year, sad part about that is not all 43,000 of them are placed in homes; I think you can tell from my voice how upsetting that is, and because they are not placed it means they are euthanized. The Animal Care & Control, I am just going to call them the ACC, from here on out in the interview.
They really have a huge huge huge job to do and I was actually speaking to the executive director last night at the red carpet event, her name is Julie and also a gentleman named Richard, who is the Director Of Development and Communication. They – New York City obviously is a very large city and there are so many animals that are dumped everyday because people move and their apartments can’t take them or people don’t have enough money or they don’t spend new on them and there’s literally puppies and kittens everywhere. And, obviously in New York there is not a lot of space for them to roam around the streets and they are caught as bait, they live underground or in the parks or the pound comes and scoops them up and they are taken to a shelter which is very overpopulated. And, the really sad part and one of the reasons that I have stepped up so much to kind of help promote the cause is that the city has cut funding for them, which means less funds, less room, less food and more animals that are being put down every single day.
And so Andy Troy, actually he can be found at AndyTroy.com, he is a promoter in the New York City area. He does a lot of events throughout New York City, at least once a month and I know he devotes himself to doing a charitable event about every other month and I think he’s done five so far for the ACC. I asked him why he did it and he just said that he really connected to the animals and there is a lot of other people promoting a lot of other stuff. When you look into those faces you will know why, that is the video, Hoping For Another Morning.
The Animal Care & Control there is too many – well I hate to say too many animals – not enough people helping and no funding. And so with the red carpet event last night they were able to raise quite a bit of funds, which will be going to caring for the animals and promoting awareness. So, that is just a little bit about them, their mission is really to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of pets and people throughout New York City. The reason the people are kind of put in there is because a lot of the people who have pets that love them very much, if they lose a job or can’t make the rent, they are out on the street and throw the animals.
Liz: You sound so involved with this, what do you personally do to help with the animal care and control? . . . Do you do any fostering or adopting?
Allison: Excellent question! Let’s see, I guess I have always done animal rescue ever since a child and then it really started when I lived in Hoboken in 2001, and I had a bird’s sight view of 9/11. At the time – yes there were 600 people missing in Hoboken and they were missing for days before – well actually three days before they deemed them as not coming back. For three days their animals sat in those apartments waiting for their parents to come home and they were not fed, they were not watered, they were not cared for and then a lot of them were just disposed of–they were dumped into the shelter system, and that is when I really got involved in this whole culture of the ACC.
All sorts of people came to save the animals, and I do believe that a lot of them in New York City stepped up and there was just no one to help. And so I just became an independent rescuer and I stepped in and I did transport, I did fostering and then eventually got involved with the actual ACC in New York City. And, I have done fostering; I’ve done a lot of transport from taking them out of the shelter, transporting them to sanctuaries for those poor animals that could not be rehabbed and placed in homes. I foster a lot of cats, not so many dogs because I do live in an urban area, and foster dogs in that kind of venue you can do a lot more with cats and then I just couldn’t – you can only foster so many cats but there is no end to the amount of spreading the awareness and fundraising that you can do, at least for me.
Liz: Yeah.
Allison: So that is how I got involved and there are certain animals that can’t survive in the actual shelter because there are special needs or because they are too sensitive. There is one cat, her name was Cookie, she was black and white. And her owner gave her up because she was having a baby and the cat was about 5 years old and the minute she went into the shelter system, she stopped eating and they actually called someone who pulls the animals out of the ACC and she was overloaded. So I took Cookie and then I had her vetted and we’re actually able to place her in a home. I guess you could say I do a little bit of this, a little bit of that on the back end, front end and in the middle, everyone is just a link in the chain.
Liz: That’s fabulous. Besides animal control do you do other charitable work?
Allison: Oh, absolutely.
Liz: Or are you mostly involved with animals?
Allison: Well, right now I support human rights in any and every way I can. A lot of times I promote the awareness through my radio shows, through my websites, I go to all of the – well not all of them. There is like one every five minutes in New York City, but I go to a lot of the events to support human rights as well, gay and lesbian rights, for the people who aren’t really heard. And that is also my connection to the animals, they don’t have a voice. I always like to – Lord knows it has taken me long enough to find my voice– and some people now say that I just don’t stop, but if I can use it in a positive way. I do support a lot of those charities by showing up at the events and advertising them on my radio shows.
However, what I can do more hands on work is to help the little guys, little charities around the New Jersey and New York area. Angels of Animals is another one that I do; Father Nature’s Ferret Rescue is a local charity around here that is very small. You would not believe how many ferrets are out there and they are sold to all these pet stores and children get bored with them within two days and they are very gentle but needy animals. They are also if anyone knows anything about the urban areas around there is so many people. The ferrets are used as bait.
A lot of times, in the parks in the weird hours in the mornings, you will see these poor little creatures maimed and mangled and crawling around for their life or begging for mercy to be put out so that they can transition to the other side. Father Nature’s Ferret Rescue is one of the only organizations that help these animals.
A lot of times, in the parks in the weird hours in the mornings, you will see these poor little creatures maimed and mangled and crawling around for their life or begging for mercy to be put out so that they can transition to the other side. Father Nature’s Ferret Rescue is one of the only organizations that help these animals. So what I do is a lot of fund raising for them. Fortunately, a lot of those poor little creatures are just damaged beyond repair, I won’t get into the gory details but a lot of that is the monies are spent and used on euthanasia on euthanasia so that these poor things don’t have to suffer.
And then my third little guy charity is Wildlife Rescue, they are out in Friendsville Pennsylvania and they really do a lot of rehabilitation of wildlife. Deers, squirrels, possums, raccoons, anything that is hit by a car or unfortunately during hunting seasons, they may be causalities of that. And I have actually worked in the trenches in each and every one of these causes and these wonderful people. And so really that is my mission is to help them be heard, because these people give 24/7 of their time, energy and funds to helping the animals.
Liz: Well, I am sure our listeners and readers are interested in knowing how your experiences with stones relate to the interest you have with animal rescue. Is there something about the vibration of stones that make you more interested in the treatment of animals?
Allison: Well, it’s funny. I think a really great way to answer that question Liz, is that it first started with the animals. As a small child I grew up on a farm, and I was a very rural area, and there weren’t a lot of people around. I ended up spending a lot of time with the animals, they were my friends, they were my family and they were very connected to Mother Nature. And, as I connected more and more to Mother Nature–I would ride my horse in the woods, and I would walk the dogs, I would come across wounded animals or abandoned animals and my father was a doctor, so I would bring them home and he would fix them up. And if they were wildlife we would release them back into their natural environment, or if they were domestic animal in need and we couldn’t place them of course we would keep them.
We had 155-acre farm, and the rule was as long as I can take care of it we could keep it. I remember getting up very early in the morning to feed everyone before I went to school and tuck them in bed at night before I went to bed. I considered them my friends and family and their sisters and brothers were the trees and were the stones. The animals, interestingly enough, would really connect with the stones, they would — I would have dogs, I would bring them home and put them in their bed. And so it just was a natural kind of progression to connect with the stones.
It went on from there I went to a friend’s school, a Quaker School in Pennsylvania and the teachers were very – what you would call crunchy. And they would take us on field trips and nature walks, and they would say, now listen to Mother Nature, listen to the trees, listen to the stones and when you come back you have to write a paper or a poem about what they had to tell you. I would go out there along with my other classmates and we would come back and we would write down what we heard. And that is really when I started hearing the messages from Mother Earth expressed through the animals and the trees and the animals and the stones. They all started to work together as a family.
Later, when I got a little older in my late teens and early 20’s I started to study healing. Reiki healing and I learned all about vibrational frequencies I started taking out my stone collection and synthesizing that with the vibrations because they were very similar and they balanced each other out. It was a very gentle energy. Truth be told, later in life when I was kind of thrashed into the human jungle I had a hard time adjusting to the harsher energies of the humans, because everyone had different vibrational frequency . I went on to study crystal healing. Then I wandered on to old timers who taught about stones and they had them dig them out of the earth and I just reconnected that way. It was reconnecting with family and friends, and I do believe in past lives, and I do believe that I have been very connected to stones throughout this lifetime and my other one. It is really interesting because a friend of mine pointed out a couple of years ago that my birthday is actually the same birthday as the Goddess Danu, who is the Goddess of Stone. What do you think of that? That is pretty crazy. For anybody who is interested June 5th is the Goddess Danu’s birthday, and mine. Obviously she is – I guess she is older than I am, I don’t know how many lifetimes I have lived, but the stones and the animals are connected as opposed to one in front of the other. Does that make sense?
Liz: Yes it does.
Allison: Oh, and if I many just add, it is a running joke but it is a truth it is not a tale, that I have over 10,000 stones in my house and the animals love them. There is one prickly, druzzy quartz sitting by the fireplace, and if you and I were to lay on it we would be like Ow! That is uncomfy, but I have one old lady cat, her name is Halley, she is black and she is about 16 years old and she lays on that constantly. Anyone comes to my house and they are like, that looks like it hurt but the animals they all gravitate towards certain stones and she does have arthritis, so I am sure that what it does is help ease the arthritis. I learned a lot about stones by watching the animals.
Liz: Allison, how did you become a High Priestess of Stones?
Allison: Wow! That is a great question. Very very many years of service, now I don’t believe they have many or any in the United States, but I studied a lot in the UK and there is a lot of old religion over there, meaning getting back to the Agrarian communities these and of the pagan roots. Basically, a very old culture who believes in connecting with nature and things like that. It was all about service to Mother Earth. I have a teacher over there who has since retired and he taught me Crystal Reiki and he taught me Atlantean Reiki. I have been studying Crystal Reiki since I have been about, oh I would say 17 years old. I went into serious study for about nine years, and I also studied the Atlantean Reiki which is Reiki. Reiki is actually a form of energy work rediscovered by Dr. Usui, who was Japanese, and that is why it is called Reiki but it is really universal form of healing energy. (Editor’s note. This is an interesting article about Reiki and Dr. Usui’s contribution.)
It is believed that before then getting back to the Lemurian and Atlantean times the same energy was utilized however with different symbols, so I studied that for about seven years. I didn’t set out to become a High Priestess of Stones; I didn’t even know it existed. But, after years of studying and service, it was a great honor to be initiated as a High Priestess of Stone. And he actually came over here from the UK and he initiated me in my studio, The Rock Room, in New York City on December 21st which is the solstice of 2008, and it was the highest honor that I have ever received. Basically a High Priestess of Stone or a High Priest of Stone is someone who works with the wisdom of stone. They can hear the wisdom that the stones contain and they can also utilize that energy for the highest good through psychic messages, through healing, through intuition and so on and so forth.
Part of what is required of the High Priestess of Stones or High Priest of Stones is teaching, and that is when I started The Rock Girl Sacred Stone School because one of my services is to teach other people about stones. Just a little background on stones, they have iron molecules and atoms that vibrate at a certain frequency and that enables them to become containers of wisdom of knowledge. Think about the quartz crystal, a tiny chip that if you dropped on the floor you would have a hard time finding, actually stores all this information in your computer and that is a quartz crystal, it also powers microphones, watches–the list goes on.
Throughout the ages, from the beginning of time, man has used stone for healing and for storing information. One of the things I do is channel stones – what I do is through heating up of the hands through Reiki energy, I connect to the stone and I download information because really they are giant computers. And they also–many of them can be used to conduct light and heat used for healing, so that is really fascinating.
Liz: Do all stones speak to you? I mean is it primarily gem stones and crystals or is it also sandstones and granite?
Allison: All of them, all of them in different ways, and that is an excellent question. It’s funny because bigger is not always better when it comes to the stone world. As you mentioned gem stones they are very tiny however, there is a certain chemical make up that allows them to be clear and shiny. Obviously if you polish them they are but when you see them in the rough they are also clear and shiny and they are more conductors of light and energy. And a tiny chip of a ruby or an emerald could really pack quite a punch, especially in the healing world.
The granite as you mentioned it is interesting because a lot of that is underground and when you go to a certain area – you know how you say, “Oh, I really like that area, I feel good when I am in that area.” Ask yourself, “well what is underneath this area? What am I standing on?” It could be like you said the limestone, the sandstone, the granites and what happens is those types of stones they conduct energy as well as store information. When you are thinking about that think of all the iron molecules and atoms popping around down there, and the frequency that they vibrate, connects to your frequency.
If I may give you another example, magnets are a type of stones called magnetite and we all know how magnets work. You put them together and they form this very strong bond or alignment but if you turn them on the wrong way they polarize and nothing short of taping them together will get them to stick. That is how all stones work, they either align things, or they polarize things. I utilize that energy to balance the chakra system in the auric field with certain stones and certain individuals. That is my forte’, Liz, is I connect the individual stone to the individual person. There really is no formula, I sit down I know the stones very very well and I take the time to get to know the people, and I connect them together simply by sensing that electromagnetic activity. Be it a very small gem stone, whether it is a nice amethyst druzy that fits into your hand, or it’s a large chunk of granite, it doesn’t matter what it is it all depends on what your body needs. When I speak of body I speak of the subtle bodies of the emotional, spiritual and ethric realm as well as the psychical and mental bodies that we are more familiar with. An interesting story about that is actually New York City; I was born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania on a farm. And then I lived in Philly for a while but I always was drawn to New York City and I would hear in my left ear which is my psychic ear that I am going to end up in New York City. Now, how a little girl from a giant farm would end up there and survive I had no clue. But, long story short I ended up there and I found out that underneath the island of Manhattan are quartz and pyrite remains that when they built the subways and the water systems they run into. And quartz is an amplifier and pyrite means fire in Greek and it is all about action and energy, and so the quartz is amplifying the action and the energy and thus it is no coincidence the city is coined the city that never sleeps. So, it is interesting that you asked that question and …
Liz: Manhattan
[Crosstalk]
Liz: Manhattan is a vibrant place that is for sure.
Allison: Absolutely.
Liz: So tell me, tell me do you think that stones have either a bad or evil vibration or are they just energy?
Allison: Well, I love that question because stones are containers of energy, so it is not the stone itself. If you come across a stone that you feel weird about, if you are not comfortable, with ask who the last person or the last place it bumped into. Because what happens is a lot of stones are healing stones or they are containers of wisdom and they absorb what is around them. And I have heard people write me emails, I have a stone, it is evil I have to throw it out. Well, if you were working with that and it all over a sudden turned into that there is a message there that you need to take a closer look. Because if the stones do their job by absorbing the energy–and the best thing to do when you come across that type of energy whether you are working with it and it happens or you just go into a store and buy it, is to just cleanse it.
It is a very simple process, you take some white sage, a lot of people are familiar with that. A lot of ancient cultures have used that in a ritual called smudging [1]where they light it and they just kind of smudge it around and what happens is, the energy that is produced from that neutralizes any type of negativity.
So you just neutralize the negativity with the sage and then you can take tinghsa bells T-I-N-G-S-H-A bells. They are ancient Tibetan bells; you can easily get them on the internet. Their sound, and sound helps clear out any negativity; the tinghsa bells are used in Tibet by the monks in secret temples to clear the space. So you sumdge it with the sage and then you ring the bells over it
and voilà you have a fabulously clean stone. What happens is the bells realign the iron molecules and atoms. The sage neutralizes the negativity, the bells realign them. And what is really interesting, Liz, is that – I don’t know if a lot of people know this, but the crystalline structure of the stone is exactly the same as a human being except we are 80 to 90% water. How you cleanse the stone is also how you can cleanse yourself.
I do teach that in my classes. To answer your question there are no evil stones, they don’t have this evil being inside of them. They are just containing negative energy and if you come upon that issue the best thing to do is clear it. If it is not cleared immediately when you do that what you can do is you can burry it in the earth. Mother Earth is a wonderful cleanser and if you don’t live in an area where you can just go dig a whole and put it in it, you can buy some organic soil, put it in a terracotta flowerpot and just put it there for three days or three nights or 30 days, whatever you are comfortable with. A lot of times I leave them there for a month and let the moon charge them and they will come out nice and clean. Because remember, that is where the stones came from, is Mother Earth. So I hope that helps.
Liz: Excellent answer. Oh, it does, I never knew the stones could have those kinds of negative or positive properties or if they were basically just energy that needed to be aligned.
Allison: Yes.
Liz: And that was a very good answer.
Allison: Thank you.
Liz: I saw your [video with] Andy [Troy] on the Celebrity Magic website, I wondered do you do individual healings or readings or do you also do readings at parties?
Allison: Yes I do all of the above. I do private psychic readings and I can do them in the Rock Room in New York City, it’s my private studio. It’s a small space, it is about 400 square feet but it is loaded ceiling with rocks even the bathroom is made of stone. And we don’t have a bathtub but there is a shower and it is all piled in stones. And I do private readings there as well as over the phone, people who call in all over the country and also internationally. And what I do is I connect them through Reiki energy to the stones that I have here and we do a psychic reading or healing long distance. And for me my psychic ability and my healing ability is activated by the frequency in the sound of the voice, so that is how I connect Reiki energy and then I connect the stones and then I channel what the stones have to stay.
And I also do healings, I do long distance Reiki and I do Reiki in my studio. I also do something called Rocks Rhyme & Reiki which is really interesting because it also incorporates the healing sounds of the tuning folks which are another type of frequency, and it amplifies the energies of the stone. And then I do something called Sacred Energy Healing where I call in the energies of the Lemurian and Atlantean people and instead of using or in addition to using the traditional Reiki symbols from Sui Reiki I also use ancient Lemurian and Atlantean energies and symbols which is really mixed, and I can do that over the phone as well. And then I also do parties and fund-raisers and a lot of celebrity events where I go to the events and I do readings or healings or whatever the individual needs at the time.
Liz: That is a fabulous way to do fund-raisers; it helps with all the charities that you work with.
Allison: Yeah and …
Liz: So tell me, do you have a website?
Allison: Yes actually I have two. The first one is TheRockGirl.com , it is T-H-E Rock Girl R-O-C-K-G-I-R-L.com, and that is my main website and there is a list of all my services and there is information about me and all sorts of other interesting nibs and nabs. And then also I started – it is called SacredStoneSchool.com. And you can get through it through my main website or you can just plug in SacredStoneSchool.com and that is really my teaching website. It is all about the school and I have a psychic development program, I have a Reiki program and I have something called The Rock Girl Master Stone Program where we learn about all things about stone. And really that came out of the venue of me being a High Priestess of Stones because as a priestess of stones it is my duty to go forth and teach and connect with other people. That will be a very long life journey of mine and it is very rewarding and the people that I meet through there are amazing.
Liz: Is there anything else that you would like to add to our interview and please tell me if you enjoyed the conference and if there is anything else we can do for you?
Allison: Oh wow! Thanks Liz that is very nice, yeah I think – let’s see I think that we really covered a lot of stuff. I want to get into my two last sense if I may about the animals and again they are my passion because a lot of them especially the domesticated ones, they really can’t speak for themselves anymore. And for those people who can actually adapt consider fostering one and if you can’t foster donating is a wonderful thing to do and if people don’t have the money to donate you can donate time, you can donate old towels and blankets if you may. You can also volunteer at the shelters or fund-raisers; anything that you can give of yourself it just doesn’t mean that you have to give money. And if you can’t do that when an email comes across your desk if you can forward that onto others and help promote the awareness that would be great, and just get involved any way that you can. So, that is really my mission in life and I have been blessed with – and sometimes cursed with the gift of psychic ability because sometimes you see what is coming but you can’t do anything about it. But it also allows you to kind of see the goods things that are coming and also give hope to people and a way to get there. And again, the healing is wonderful I know that the shift of 2012 is coming up and a lot of people are feeling this vibrational frequency and it is one of my jobs to help them adjust to that. And so I take my job and my gifts with great humility and great honor and it is just my job as a High Priestess of Stones to pass on this information to those who are ready for it. I hope that helps.
Liz: Alison thank you so much and I am glad that we had this chance to talk.
Allison: Well thank you.
Liz: It really shows that you really do a lot with yourself in terms of fund-raising, doing events, those things for the things that you love and I am sure love you.
Allison: Thank you, yes.
Liz: Thank you.
Allison: And it was a pleasure to be here and it was wonderful to connect with your energy and I love doing things like this and it was really an honor to spend this time with you.
Liz: Thank you.

Here are some of the questions that we asked Allison Hayes:
1. Allison, would you tell us a little bit about yourself? I know you are well known for being a High Priestess of the stones and that you are professional psychic, medium, past life channeler, and that you host two radio shows, but in your own words, please tell us a little bit about yourself.
2. I know that you recently appeared at a Red carpet event for the Animal Care and Control of New York City. Some of the people who are listening to this may not be familiar with that organization. Could you describe Animal Care and Control of New York City and enthusiastically tell us why you are involved with it?
3. What has your involvement with Animal Care and Control of New York City., I mean what types of things have you done to foster their cause?
4. What type of fund-raising events might you be interested in doing if we could get some additional support for you through the book that we are doing and the website that this is appearing on.
5. Would you say that your ability to commune with rocks is something that anyone could cultivate?
6. Do you feel that rocks and minerals possess a life energy?
7. I’m curious. You have such an interesting profession. How do you introduce yourself at parties?
8. By the way, for those who are listening to this interview on their iPod, smart phone or .mp3 player, and want to visit your website, would you say and spell the name of your website.
9. What other causes are you most involved in and why are you motivated to give back in this way?
10. I’ve read that many of your stone teachers were “old school”, actually making you climb into stone quarries and dig the rocks out of the earth. Is this true? If so, how has this impacted upon the way that you relate to stones?
11. People have told me that you’ve worked with stones for months on end, until you could separate out the energies of each stone just by touch and that you can dip your hands into a bucket of muddy water and identify each stone just by its vibration. Tell us about that.
12. These are special talents that you possess, and I’m sure our listeners and readers are interested in knowing how the experiences that you have with stones relate to the interests you have in animal rescue. Is there something about the vibration of stones that makes you more interested in the treatment of animals.
13. What can a non-celebrity do to foster the well treatment of animals?
14. One of the things that might work out well for Animal Care & Control of NYC would be if we had a virtual event—a sort of conference/workshop that is done on line using a teleconference or webinar–that raised money for them. Do you have any thoughts about this concept? Might you be interested in participating?

Allison: Yes, absolutely. Animal Care & Control of New York City, they are the – actually if anybody out there is listening you can go to their website at N-Y-C-A-C-C.org. And Animal Care & Control of New York City is actually the largest pet organization in the North East, not even in New York City but the North East. It basically rescues 43,000 animals each year, sad part about that is not all 43,000 of them are placed in homes and I think you can tell from my voice how upsetting that is, and because they are not placed it means they are eternized. The Animal Care & Control I am just going to call them the ACC from here on now in the interview.
Liz: Okay.
Allison: They really have a huge huge huge job to do and I was actually speaking to the executive director last night at the red carpet event, her name is July and also a gentleman named Richard who is the director of development and communication. They – New York City obviously is a very large city and there are so many animals that are dumped everyday because people move and their apartments can’t take them or people don’t have enough money or they don’t spend new on them and there’s literally puppies and kittens everywhere. And obviously in New York there is not a lot of space for them to roam around the streets and they are caught as bait, they live underground or in the parks or you know the pound comes and scopes them up and they are taken to a shelter which is very overpopulated. And the really sad part and one of the reasons that I have stepped up so much to kind of help promote the cause is that the city has cut funding for them, which means less funds, less room, less food and more animals that are being put down every single day.
And so Andy Troy, actually he can be found at AndyTroy.com, he is a promoter in the New York City area. He does a lot of events throughout New York City, at least once a month and I know he devotes himself to doing charitable event about every other month and I think he’s done 5 so far for the ACC. And I asked him why he did it and he just said that he really connected to the animals and there is a lot of other people promoting a lot of other stuff. And when you look into those faces you will know why, that is the video, hoping for another morning.
And so the Animal Care & Control there is too many – well I hate to say too many animals – not enough people helping and no funding. And so with the red carpet event last night they were able to raise quite a bit of funds which will be going to caring for the animals and promoting awareness.
Liz: And you sound so involved with this, what do you personally do to help with the animal care and control?
Allison: Basically …
Liz: Do you do any fostering or adapting?
Allison: Excellent question. Let’s see, I guess I have always done animal rescue ever since a child and then it really started when I lived in Hob Aiken in 2001 and I had a bird sight view of 9/1. And at the time – yes there was 600 people missing in Hob Aiken and they were missing for days before – well actually 3 days before they kind of seen them not coming back. And for 3 days their animals sat in those apartments waiting for their parents to come home and they were not fed, they were not watered, they were not cared for and then a lot of them were just disposed off. They were dumped into the shelter system and that is when I really got involved in this whole kind of culture of the ACC and things like that.
And they actually – all sorts of people came to just kind of save the animals and I do believe that a lot of them in New York City stepped up and there was just no one to help. And so I just became an independent rescuer and I stepped in and I transported, I did fostering and then eventually I got involved with the actual ACC in New York City. And I’ve done fostering, I’ve done a lot of transport from taking them out of the shelter transporting them to sanctuaries for those poor animals that could not be rehabbed and placed in homes. I foster a lot of cats not so many dogs because I do live in an urban area and foster dogs in that kind of venue you can do a lot more with cats and then I just couldn’t – you can only foster so many cats but there is no end to the amount of spreading the awareness and fundraising that you can do at least for me.
So I took Cookie and then I had her vetted and we’re actually able to place her in a home, so I guess you could say I do a little bit of this a little bit of that on the back end, front end and in the middle, everyone is just a link in the chain.
Liz: That is fabulous. And besides animal control do you do other charitable work?
Allison: Ooh absolutely.
Liz: Or are you mostly involved with animals?
Allison: Well, right now I support human rights in any and every way I can. A lot of times I promote the awareness through my radio shows, through my websites, I go to all of the – well not all of them. There is like one every 5 minutes in New York City but I go to a lot of the events to support human rights as well, gay and lesbian rights, for the people who aren’t really heard. And that is also my connection to the animals, they don’t have a voice. So I always like to – Lord knows it has taken me long enough to find my voice and some people now say that I just don’t stop, but if I can use it in a positive way. So I do support a lot of those charities by showing up at the events and advertising them on my radio shows.
They are also if anyone knows anything about the urban areas around there is so many people fighting rings and the ferrets are used as bait.
So a lot of times in the parks in the weird hours in the mornings you will see these poor little creatures maimed and mangled and crawling around for their life or begging for mercy to be put out so that they can transition to the other side. And Father Nature’s Ferret Rescue is one of the only organizations that help these animals. And so what I do is a lot of fund-raisings for them and unfortunately while these little creatures are just damaged beyond repair, I won’t get into the core details but a lot of that is the monies are spent and used so that these poor things don’t have to suffer.
And then my third little guy charity is Wildlife Rescue, they are out in Friendsville Pennsylvania and they really do a lot of rehabilitation of wildlife. Deers, squirrels, twosomes, raccoons, anything that is hit by a car or unfortunately during haunting seasons; there may be causalities of that. And I have actually worked in the tranches in each and every one of these causes and these wonderful people.
As a small child I grew up on a farm, and I was a very world area, and there weren’t a lot of people around. So, I ended up spending a lot of time with the animals, they were my friends, they were my family and they were very connected to Mother Nature. And as I connected more and more to Mother Nature I would ride my horse in the woods and I would walk the dogs. I would come across wounded animals or abandoned animals and my father was a doctor, so I would bring them home and he would fix them up. And if they were wildlife we would release them back into their natural environment or if they were domestic animal in need and we couldn’t place them of course we would keep them.
And we had 155 acre farm and the rule was, as long as I can take care of it we could keep it. And so I remember getting up very early in the morning to feed everyone before I went to school and toss them in bed at night before I went to bed. And I considered them my friends and family and they are sisters and brothers with the trees and with the stones. And the animals interestingly enough would really connect with the stones, they would – I would have dogs, I would bring them home and put them in their bed. And so it just was a natural kind of progression to connect with the stones.
And then it went on from there I went to a friend’s school Krieger School in Pennsylvania and the teachers were very – what you would call crunchy. And they would take us on field trips and nature walks, and they would say, now listen to mother nature, listen to the trees, listen to the stones and when you come back you have to write a paper or a poem about what they had to tell you. And so I would go out there along with my other classmates and we would come back and we would write down what we heard. And that is really when I started hearing the messages from mother earth express through the animals and the trees and the stones, and so they all started to kind of work together as a family.
And then later, when I got a little older in my late teens and early 20s I started to study healing. Reikki healing and I learnt all about vibrational frequencies and I started taking out my stone collection and synthesizing that with the vibrations because they were very very similar and they balanced each other out. And it was a very gentle energy, and truth be told later in life when I was kind of thrashed into the human jungle I had a hard time adjusting to the harsher energies of the humans, because everyone had different vibrational frequency . And I went on to study crystal healing then I just wondered on to old timers who taught about stones and they had them dig them out of the earth and I just reconnected that way. And so it was reconnecting with family and friends, and I do believe in past life and I do believe that I have been very connected to stones throughout this lifetime and my other one. And it is really interesting because a friend of mine pointed out a couple of years ago that my birthday is actually the same birthday as the Goddess Danu, who is the Goddess of Stone. What do you think of that? That is pretty crazy, so basically …
[Crosstalk]
Allison: Yeah I had no idea. And so for anybody who is interested June 5th is the Goddess Danu’s birthday and mine. Obviously she is – I guess she is older than I am, I don’t know how many lifetimes I have lived but the stones and the animals are connected as opposed to one in front of the other. Does that make sense?
Liz: Yes it does.
Allison: Ooh and if I many just add, it is a running joke but it is true it is not a tail, that I have over 10,000 stones in my house and the animals love them. There is one prickly, druzzy quartz sitting by the fire place, and if you and I were to lay on it we would be like aw! That is uncomfy but I have one old lady cat, her name is Halley, she is black and she is about 16 years old and she lays on that constantly. And anyone comes to my house and they are like, that looks like it hurt but the animals they all gravitate towards certain stones and she does have arthritis, so I am sure that what it does is help ease the arthritis, so I learnt a lot about stones by watching the animals.
Liz: Allison how did you become a high priestess of stones?
Allison: Wow! That is a great question. Very very many years of service, now I don’t believe they have many or any in the United States but I studied a lot in the UK and there is a lot of old religion over there, meaning getting back to the Agrarian communing these and of the pagan roots. Basically a very old culture who believes in connecting with nature and things like that and it was all about service to mother earth. And I have a teacher over there who has since retired and he taught me Crystal Reikki and he taught me Atlantean Reikki. And I have been studying Crystal Reikki since I have been about ooh I would say17 years old. And then I went into serious study for about 9 years, and I also studied the Atlantean Reikki which is Reikki. Reikki is actually a form of energy work rediscovered by Dr. Sui who was Japanese, and that is why it is called Reikki but it is really universal form of healing energy.
And it is believed that before then getting back to the Lemurian and Atlantean times the same energy was utilized however with different symbols, so I studied that for about 7 years. And I didn’t set out to become a high priestess of stones; I didn’t even know it existed. But after years of studying and service, it was a great honor to be initiated as a high priestess of stone. And he actually came over here from the UK and he initiated me in my studio The Rock Room in New York City on December 21st which is the [soltess] of 2008, and it was the highest honor that I have ever received. And basically what that is a high priestess of stone or a high priest of stone is someone who works with the wisdom of stone. They can hear the wisdom that the stones contain and they can also utilize that energy for the highest good through physic messages, through healing, through intuition and so on and so forth.
And part of what is required of the high priestess of stones or high priest of stones is teaching, and that is when I started The Rock Girl Sacred Stone School because one of my services is to teach other people about stones. And so really you know, just a little background on stones, they have iron molecules and atoms that vibrate at a certain frequencies and that enables them to become containers of wisdom of knowledge. Think about the quartz crystal a tiny chip that if you dropped on the floor you would have a hard time finding actually stores all these information in your computer and that is a quartz crystal, it also powers microphones, watches the list goes on.
And so throughout the ages from the beginning of time, man has used stone for healing and for storing information. And one of the things I do is channel stones – and what I do is through heating up of the hands through Reikki energy, I connect to the stone and I download information because really they are giant computers. And they also many of them can be used to conduct light and heat used for healing, so that is really fascinating.
Liz: Do all stones speak to you? I mean is it primarily gem stones and crystals or is it also sand stones and granite?
Allison: All of them, all of them in different ways and that is an excellent question. It’s funny because bigger is not always better when it comes to the stone world. As you mentioned gem stones they are very tiny however, there is a certain chemical make up that allows them to be clear and shinny. Obviously if you polish them they are but when you see them in the rough they are also clear and shinny and they are more conductors of light and energy. And a tiny chip of a ruby or an emrock could really pack quite a punch especially in the healing world.
Now the granite as you mentioned it is interesting because a lot of that is underground and when you go to a certain area – you know how you say ooh I really like that area, I feel good when I am in that area. A lot of times ask yourself, well what is underneath this area? What am I standing on? Because a lot of time it could be like you said the limestone, the sandstone, the granites and what happens is those types of stones they conduct energy as well as store information. And so when you are thinking about that think of all the iron molecules and atoms popping around down there and the frequency that they vibrate, connect to your frequency.
If I many give you another example, magnets are a type of stones called magnetite and we all know how magnets work. You put them together and they form this very strong bond or alignment but if you turn them on the wrong way they polarize and nothing short of taping them together will get them to stick. And so that is how all stones work, they either align things or they polarize things and I utilize that energy to balance the shocker system in the oracle field with certain stones and certain individuals. And that is my forte Liz is I connect the individual stone to the individual person. There really is no formula, I sit down I know the stones very very well and I take the time to get to know the people, and I connect them together simply by sensing that electromagnetic activity. And be it a very small gem stone whether it is a nice amessisdrozzy that fits into your hand or is a large chunk of granite, it doesn’t matter what it is it all depends on what your body needs,
. And when I speak of body I speak of the settle bodies of the emotion, spiritual an arteriogram as well as the physical and mental bodies that we are more familiar with.
And interesting story about that is actually New York City; I was born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania on a farm. And then I lived in Philly for a while but I always was drawn to New York City and I would hear my left ear which is my physic ear that I am going to end up in New York City. Now, how a little girl from a giant farm would end up there and survive I had no clue. But, long story short I ended up there and I found out that underneath the island of Manhattan are quartz and pyrite remains that when they built the subways and the water systems they run into. And quartz is an amplifier and pyrite means fire in Greek and it is all about action and energy, and so the quartz is amplifying the action and the energy and thus is no coincidence the city is coined the city that never sleeps.
If you come across a stone that you feel weird about, if you are not comfortable with ask who the last person or the last place it bumped into. Because if the stones do their job by absorbing the energy and the best thing to do when you come across that type of energy whether you are working with it and it happens or you just go into a store and buy it, is to just cleanse it.
It is a very simple process, you take some white sage, a lot of people are familiar with that. A lot of ancient cultures have used that in a ritual called smerging where they light it and they just kind of smerge it around and what happens is, the energy that is produced from that neutralizes any type of negativity.
So you just neutralize the negativity with the sage and then you can take tinghsa bells T-I-N-G-S-H-A bells. They are ancient batten bells; you can easily get them on the internet. And their sound and sound helps clear out any negativity and the tinghsa bells are used in Tibet by the monks in secret temples to clear the space. So you smerge it with the sage and then you ring the bells over it and walah you have a fabulously clean stone. What happens is the bells kind of realign the iron molecules atoms, so the sage neutralizes the negativity, the bells realign them. And what is really interesting Liz is that – I don’t know if a lot of people know this but the crystaling structure of the stone is exactly the same as a human being except we are 80-90% water, so how you cleanse the stone is also how you can cleanse yourself.
So I do teach that in my classes and yeah, so to answer your question there are no evil stones, they don’t have this evil being inside of them. They are just containing negative energy and so if you come upon that issue the best thing to do is clear it. Now if it is not cleared immediately when you do that what you can do is you can burry it in the earth. Mother earth is a wonderful cleanser and if you don’t live in an area where you can just go dig a whole and put it in it, you can buy some organic soil, put it in a tera cutter flowerpot and just put it there for 3 days or 3 nights or 30 days, whatever you are comfortable with. A lot of times I kind of leave them there for a month and let the moon charge them and they will come out nice and clean. Because remember, that is where the stones came from, is mother earth. So I hope that helps.
Liz: Excellent answer. Ooh it does, I never knew the stones could have those kinds of negative or positive properties or if they were basically just energy that needed to be aligned.
Allison: Yes.
Liz: And that was a very good question. Very good question very good answer.
Allison: Thank you. Yes
Liz: I saw your Andy on the Celebrity Magic website, so I kind of wondered by looking at that, do you do individual healings or readings or do you also do readings at parties for people?
Allison: Yes I do all of the above. I do private physic readings and I can do them in the Rock Room in New York City, it’s my private studio. It’s a small space, it is about 400 square feet but it is loaded ceiling with rocks even the bathroom is made of stone. And we don’t have a bathtub but there is a shower and it is all piled in stones. And I do private readings there as well as over the phone, people who call in all over the country and also internationally. And what I do is I connect them through Reikki energy to the stones that I have here and we do a physic reading or healing long distance. And for me my physic ability and my healing ability is activated by the frequency in the sound of the voice, so that is how I connect Reikki energy and then I connect the stones and then I channel what the stones have to stay.
And I also do healings, I do long distance Reikki and I do Reikki in my studio. I also do something called Rocks Rhyme & Reikki which is really interesting because it also incorporates the healing sounds of the tuning folks which are another type of frequency, and it amplifies the energies of the stone. And then I do something called Sacred Energy Healing where I call in the energies of the Lemurian and Atlantean people and instead of using or in addition to using the traditional Reikki symbols from Sui Reikki I also use ancient Lemurian and Atlantean energies and symbols which is really mixed, and I can do that over the phone as well.
It is all about the school and I have a psychic development program, I have a Reikki program and I have something called The Rock Girl Master Stone Program where we learn about all things about stone.
Allison: Ooh wow! So, that is really my mission in life and I have been blessed with – and sometimes cursed with the gift of physic ability because sometimes you see what is coming but you can’t do anything about it.
